The USAFA Georgia Parents Club is a private organization composed of parents, family, and friends of United States Air Force Academy Cadets from the state of Georgia. The purpose of the USAFA Georgia Parents Club is to provide news and support to parents during the time their son or daughter is away from home attending the Air Force Academy or Air Force Academy Prep School. We are a support and assistance group - supporting each other, our cadets, and of course, the Academy's efforts on behalf of our cadets. We also provide information and encouragement to parents of prospective cadets and Appointees. We share a great deal of pride in our sons and daughters for their commitment to serving our country. We have a great club that has enjoyed active participation by parents of all classes. As graduation approaches for many of our Board members and parent volunteers, we hope YOU will consider volunteering. The time commitment is minimal, the benefit to our club and our cadets is tremendous, and the satisfaction of contributing is great! At the Cookie Party and the General Meeting (Feb) we will be looking for volunteer positions such as: Fundraiser Chair, Membership Chair, Host/Hostess for next year's Cookie Party, and more. We will send emails shortly about the open positions and the requirements. Please consider volunteering to KEEP this club strong and active in supporting our cadets and parents.
We are LUCKY to have received the exclusive distribution of the Magnolia Lane collection of Air Force Academy Pottery. The manufacturer is discontinuing the AFA line - and we have it ALL! We have expanded our offering to add a "chip & dip", plates, a small oval platter and a large bowl to the large platter and divided vegetable tray we've offered in the past. You will not find these items ANYWHERE else - they will make great gifts for parents, grandparents, sponsors, soon-to-be-graduates and anyone who is a fan of the Air Force.
